How to Register

Please note that this is the official 40th EPOS 2022 Congress website for registrations and that no other websites, companies or agencies are authorised to sell the registrations in any way or to contact you directly.

Pre-registration will be accepted until April 5, 2022. After this date only on-site registrations will be possible.


Individual Registrations:

    Off-line registrations and requests of pro-forma/ invoices sent by fax or mail are subject to an additional € 19,00 for administration expenses.

Group Registrations

  • Group registration is possible for companies or travel agencies wishing to register more than 5 delegates and need one collective invoice; please ask for a group account by contacting the Registration Office OIC to

The payment of the registration fee is compulsory to participate in the Congress both as auditor or as an oral or poster presenter.
The Registration Fee for Delegates includes:


  • Conference material
  • Admission to all sessions
  • Admission to the exhibition area
  • Coffee, tea, refreshments and lunches during breaks throughout the Conference
  • Opening Ceremony on April 6th

The Registration Fee for Accompanying Persons includes:

  • Opening Ceremony on April 6th

Note: The accompanying person fee does not include admission to the scientific sessions, the exhibition area or any meals during the Meeting.

Congress Kit Collection to be collected only by a Company or Agency Representative

In order to simplify the registration procedures of their guests, companies/agencies can collect their delegates’ congress kits before the official beginning of the Congress. An official request must be sent to OIC Housing & Registrations Department, 3-4 weeks before the beginning of the event to define and agree a pick up time.
The service is available by appointment only, and provided the registration lists are complete with the compulsory data required. No material will be given in case of incomplete or missing data.
Otherwise, the material can be picked up by each single delegate. The congress material of each participant will be available at the pre-registration desk during the Secreteriat’s regular opening hours, as indicated in the Scientific Program.

Terms of Payment

Registrations and services can be confirmed only after receipt of full prepayment. All payments (registrations, course and dinner) can be processed through:

Cash payment in Euros will be accepted on-site

We would like to inform you that as of September 14, 2019, the SCA (STRONG CUSTOMER AUTHENTICATION) came into effect, in accordance with the provisions of the European Directive on payment services (PSD2).

Invoices with an address in the European Union should be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can only be set up during the registration process. Should you have any special requests for the processing of your invoice, kindly let us know when submitting your application.
Off-line registrations and requests of pro-forma invoices sent by fax or mail are subject to an additional € 19,00 administration charge
Any modification on VAT number or billing address, requested after the issuing of the invoice incurs a € 30,00 administration charge.

Cancellations and Reimbursement

For any change or cancellation a written notification must be sent to OIC Housing & Registration – Fax +39 055 57 02 27, E-mail:

  • For cancellations received by January 21, 2022: a penalty charge of 30% will be applied.
  • For cancellations received from January 22 to March 25, 2022: a penalty charge of 70% will be applied.
  • No refund will be processed for cancellations received after March 25,2022
  • Name changes incur a handling fee of € 39,00 per registration.
  • No refunds shall be offered, where a service is deemed to have begun and is, for all intents and purposes, underway.
  • Anyone unable to attend the congress, for whatever reasons, after paying and/or unable to transfer the registration fee to another person, must cancel his/her registration. The registration fee will be refunded if the request is received prior the above cancellation deadline dates, no further claims for reimbursement can be made.
  • Anyone unable to attend the congress for VISA rejaction, refund will be granted only if a copy of your visa rejection letter is provided. The refund will be issued less the cancellation fee above stated. Please note that no refunds will be issued for additional fees paid for express shipping of invitation letters

Liability disclaimer

In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, OIC shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the event. You shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.
All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.
OIC will not be liable for any theft or damage to property and/or persons caused on site during the Congress, by any factor whatever, unless there has been a fault, intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of OIC.
OIC shall not be held responsible in the event of poisoning or food intoxication during the Event.
